One against; the other
Concept:
The concept behind One Against; The Other was to fuse several of my tastes into one idea. It reflected my favourite artists, colour combinations, typefaces, and quotes, all in one nicely packaged piece.
While my tastes are always changing, this series is always updated and refreshed to reflect where I am at stylistically as a person and designer. ​​​​​

Process:
My process for making a One Against The Other piece would start with a layout sketch, and an image that inspires a word, shape, or colour that suits the theme of the image. This theme would be followed by a typographic idea, tying the link between the image, emotional theme and design element or word. Sometimes, an original typographic idea would be sketched or chosen from a type foundry. Lastly, any extra space was filled with book passages, futuristic iconography or layered textures.
